Path of Exile's Latest Major Expansion

Path of Exile developer Grinding Gear has set its sights on the game's melee combat for the next big overhaul. If you are you looking for more about POE Trade check out our website. With the release of Path of Exile's latest major expansion, Synthesis, the developer revamped the game's spellcasting mechanics. This was mostly a numbers game, as the developer re-balanced almost all spells. Up next, melee combat. In a blog post, Grinding Gear Games revealed plans to make melee combat less clunky. Like spellcasting, the studio intends to balance the speed, accuracy and other numerical values, but the plan is to do more than that.

Path of Exile recently received a major expansion dubbed Synthesis that introduced a lot of new content and also brought an extensive rebalance of Spellcasting among other things. A lot of work on combat was focused on a numerical rebalance of most skills, and in the latest announcement from the developer Grinding Gear Games, some new details have been revealed about additional combat changes, coming in the next major update - 3.7.0. Grinding Gear Games, the developers of action RPG Path of Exile have confirmed that a rebalance to the game's clunky melee combat is coming sometime in June 2019. The update should improve combat animations, accuracy, melee splash and more.

Path of Exile's latest expansion, Synthesis, reworks spellcasting and melee combat will be given similar attention in the next expansion to fix its "clunky" feel, Grinding Gear Games has said. The 3.7.0 expansion, due in June, will focus on improving animations and adjusting the numbers behind certain melee skills, but the dev team are also currently "experimenting" with changes to accuracy, feedback for hitting and missing in melee, melee splash damage, leech, fortify, melee base types, movement skills and the melee damage tied to certain items.

Path of Exile by Grinding Gear Games isn't exactly a brand new game. It was originally released in 2013 but is constantly updated, so if you haven't played it in a while, it might be time for a reinstall. Path of Exile is free to play. As of March 15, 2019 a new expansion has been released the Synthesis League which adds another layer to this already multilayered Action RPG. Although it received GAMESPOT's coveted Game of the Year when it was released, Path of Exile didn't catch on like developers expected. These aren't Fortnite numbers but with 63,000 concurrent players this season has been the most popular one yet for Path of Exile.

As it looks like, the PS4 version of Path of Exile's odyssey will soon be at an end. Even the last skeptics are now apparently convinced of the release date. Until recently that was different. Path of Exile update 3.6.3c is a minor update that mostly fixes on bug fixes. It also adds a variety of Darkprism microtransactions to the store, including a pet, a helmet attachment, a cape, and a weapon skin. More specifically, the developer hopes to tighten up the feel of combat by making a few changes to attack animations. These changes should arrive with the game's 3.7.0 expansion, due sometime in June.
